Adult Literacy Programs
Mountain View Community Literacy's adult programming is designed to help adults (18 years and older) meet their non-credit basic literacy needs. We can help individuals to improve literacy skills in reading, writing, and numeracy. We also assist newcomers to Canada who want to improve their English literacy. For ESL lessons, students must have Landed Immigrant status. All one-on-one literacy help for adults is free.

Tutoring
We offer one-on-one tutoring for adults who whould like to improve their reading, writing, and.or math skills. Trained volunteer tutors work individually with adults who would like to improve their literacy.

English as a Second Language (ESL)
Are you new to Canada? We offer ESL help!We can help you with English. Trained volunteer tutors work individually with new Canadians who want to improve their English speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills. We provide one-on-one tutoring for new Canadians who want to improve their conversational or written English.
ESL Classes
Occasionaly, when the need is great, we offer ESL Classes. Please contact our Adult Literacy Coordinator to find out when our next ESL classes will run.
