About Us

The Mountain View Community Literacy Society is a not-for-profit agency that serves Mountain View County. We believe that every citizen is entitled to success in literacy and we aim to make that a reality through our individual and group programming.

Our Partners

Mountain View Community Literacy operates Family Literacy programs with the support of FCSS funding from the communities within the county, private donations, grants, and fundraising. Our Adult Literacy programs also rely on donations and funraising, in addition to a grant from Alberta Advanced Education. We work closely with other not-for-profit organizations; libraries, churches, Parent Link centres, and Town Offices all contribute to our success.
